Successful share offer from Adherium

Adherium's offer of shares at 50 cents each was more than two times oversubscribed.

Medical devices developer Adherium has successfully raised $35 million in a public share offer amid strong demand from investors.

Adherium's offer of shares at 50 cents each was more than two times oversubscribed.

Adherium develops technologies that can help people take their medicines as prescribed and assist doctors to manage their patients without having to see them all the time.

Adherium has developed a "Smartinhaler" to help asthmatics.

The device is attached to a prescription inhaler to record medication usage patterns.

The device can remind users if they miss a dose and transmits data to physicians so they can better monitor their patients.

Adherium is expected to start trading on the Australian share market on August 26.
