Suncorp has appointed Medibank executive Sarah Harland as its new chief information officer, effective September 1.
Ms Harland, who had reponsibility for Medibank's IT, consumer and provider claims, and previously worked at ANZ and the National Health Service in the UK, will lead Suncorp's technology and business intelligence strategy.
The Brisbane-based insurer has been looking for a new CIO after Matt Pancino resigned from the role in April.
