Suncorp's life insurance boss Geoff Summerhayes has resigned and will be replaced by the head of the Vero general insurance business in New Zealand.
Suncorp says Mr Summerhayes will step down on September 30 and remain in an advisory role until January 1, 2016.
Vero NZ chief executive Gary Dransfield will take the helm of Suncorp Life on October 1.
Mr Summerhayes said that with Suncorp Life performing in line with expectations, now was the right time for him to pursue other opportunities.
