Gold Coast youngster Kade Kolodjashnij has committed himself to the AFL club until the end of the 2018 campaign.
The 20-year-old, pick five in the 2013 draft, has been almost ever-present in his opening two seasons at the Suns, playing 40 of 44 games.
Kolodjashnij played every match of the 2015 campaign, averaging 22.3 disposals as he became a key part of the Suns' defence.
The Tasmanian is the second young gun to commit to the Suns in days, with Peter Wright signing a new deal last month.
"I'm pretty excited about the future, and that's why I have recommitted to the Suns," Kolodjashnij said.
"We've changed a lot in the short time that I've been at the club, and we are now clear in the direction we want to go."
