Surfing delayed again at Bells Beach

Organisers have been forced to put the Rip Curl Pro on hold again with small waves and unfavourable winds at Bells Beach.

Poor conditions have forced organisers to call another lay day at the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, the second stop on the World Surf League calendar.

"We have small swell and light, onshore winds. The conditions are not great. We will come back tomorrow morning for another call," Kieren Perrow, the WSL competition director, said on Tuesday.

Only two days of action have been possible, last Thursday and Easter Monday, with the men and women completing the first two rounds of competition.

The next call will be made on Wednesday at 0900 AEST.
