Suspicious house fire in Sydney's west

Police officers who rescued a woman from a house fire in Sydney's west are being treated for smoke inhalation.

A woman has been rescued from her western Sydney home this morning following a suspicious fire. (AAP)

A woman has had to be rescued from her western Sydney home in the early hours following a suspicious fire.

Police were called to the Bossley Park home just before midnight on Saturday and found the house well alight.

Three officers helped rescue the woman, who's believed to be aged in her 60s, and all four have been taken to Liverpool Hospital suffering smoke inhalation.

Officers from Fairfield Local Area Command are investigating the blaze, which is being treated as suspicious.
