Swans can find a way without Buddy: Heeney

Isaac Heeney says the efforts of their youngsters and smaller forwards at Geelong shows Sydney can thrive without superstar Lance Franklin

Sydney's Isacc Heeney says the efforts of the youngsters and "little fellows" in the Swans forward line, show they can get by without their superstar Lance Franklin.

The Swans kicked seven goals in the final quarter to win at Geelong last Saturday without Franklin, whose bruised heel will also keep him out of Saturday's home game against North Melbourne.

"He'll be a bit of a miss, but obviously it shows that sometimes we don't need him, and we can kick goals other ways, which is important," Heeney said.
