Lewis Jetta and Cyril Rioli's foot race down the MCG wing was one of the most memorable moments of the 2012 AFL grand final.
Jetta proved too good that day, and so did Sydney.
It's little wonder, then, the Swans speedster wants his Hawthorn counterpart to play in this year's decider.
Rioli is chasing a recall to the senior team after emerging unscathed from Sunday's VFL grand final following three months on the sideline with a hamstring injury.
"I'd love for him to play," Jetta said.
"We can do Cyril versus Jetts again - take two.
"Whether it be me chasing him, or him chasing me, or even having a goal-kicking contest.
"I think that's what footy needs. I think everyone wants to see it as well."
The Swans' last grand final triumph seems so long ago for Jetta that he admits he has forgotten what it feels like to win a premiership.
"I want that feeling back," he said.
"I'm a relaxed bloke and I'm getting excited (about Saturday). I got excited just watching the other games - Port Adelaide and Hawthorn, Geelong and North.
"It's unbelievable."
Jetta was the Swans' leading goalkicker in 2012 with 45 majors.
But things have changed since star forwards Lance Franklin and Kurt Tippett arrived at the club.
He currently sits 10th on Sydney's list of scorers with just 14 goals - 61 fewer than Coleman Medallist Franklin.
"There's a couple of times where I've missed some easy goals," the 25-year-old said.
"I should've kicked a lot of goals - some were set shots, some were on the run, right in front and I missed it.
"But my main focus was the defensive side of my game - being clean in ground balls, taking on tackles and giving it off to my teammates. And using my feet in the scramble and stoppages.
"That's what I've been working on all year, and that was my focus at the start of pre-season.
"And it's been working for me.
"Now, if the goals are there I try and kick them. If not, I'll kick it to Tippett, Buddy or Goodes.
"I'll just kick it and play 'markers up'."
