Digital entertainment provider Swift Networks has struck a deal with Optus to distribute the telco's Premier League football content to hotels, mine sites, aged care centres and other venues around the country.
Swift said on Tuesday that it will resell Optus' Premier League content as part of its suite of digital offerings to hospitality, resources, retirement lifestyle village and aged care companies, spanning more than 29,000 rooms around the country.
The deal was well received by investors, who pushed Swift shares up two cents, or 9.8 per cent, to 22.5 cents in a lower Australian share market.
