Sydney cannabis haul worth $3 million

Around 600 cannabis plants with a street value of $3 million have been seized in a raid on a Sydney factory.

Hundreds of cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $3 million have been seized during a police search of a factory in outer Sydney.

Police say they uncovered a large-scale hydroponic set-up with 600 cannabis plants at the factory in South Windsor on Wednesday.

They also found a large quantity of fertiliser, heating lamps and an extensive electrical installation.

No charges have yet been laid.
