Sydney expect to be lifted by Goodes

Sydney midfielder Luke Parker believes the return of Adam Goodes will give the Swans a lift in their crucial AFL away game against Geelong on Saturday.

Goodes is set to return for the Simonds Stadium clash after missing last week's match against Adelaide while taking leave following a period of vilification from opposing fans.

Parker, who will play his 100th game this weekend, said Goodes was in a good head space and the fourth-placed Swans were looking to build on last week's good form.

"We played some really good football last week and hopefully `Goodesy' can come in and continue on from that and make us even stronger," said Parker.

"You can just tell he's really excited for the finish of the season and hopefully he can come out and play some really good footy."
