Sydney man charged over inner west killing

A 23-year-old man has arrested at Sydney airport and charged with the murder of father-of-two Brad Dillon.

A Sydney man has been arrested while preparing to board a flight to Thailand and charged over the fatal shooting of a father of two.

NSW detectives arrested the 23-year-old from Russell Lea at Sydney International Airport on Friday morning and charged him with the murder of Brad Dillon, 25, in Leichhardt in the inner west.

He was refused bail and is due in Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.

Mr Dillon was fatally shot on August 11 on Lords Road near the busy MarketPlace shopping centre.

Police expect to make further arrests over the killing.
