Sydney man charged with obscene exposure

A man has been charged with obscene exposure after allegedly exposing himself near a children's playground in Sydney's northwest.

A man who allegedly exposed himself near a children's playground in Sydney's northwest has been arrested after police were alerted by an off-duty officer.

Police say the officer was in a reserve at Quarry Road at North Ryde at about 4.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday when she was informed the man had been exposing himself.

The off-duty officer notified local police who arrived a short time later and arrested a 63-year-old man who was later charged with obscene exposure.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Burwood Local Court on March 19.
