Sydney has beaten out southern rival Melbourne in a list of the world's most fashionable cities.
The stylish Harbour city came in at eight, with Melbourne languishing behind at 26, according to the Global Language Monitor survey.
Sydney has widened its lead since the 2012 survey too, jumping seven spots while typically black-clad Melbourne slipped five.
Unsurprisingly, New York topped the rankings after beating couture capital Paris, which came in a close second by a margin of 0.05 per cent - the slimmest in the survey's history.
The Big Apple's disciplined yet creative approach to fashion helped it beat its European competitor, said spokesperson Bekka Payack.
Meanwhile, Sydney's ascent to the top-10 was deemed a "triumphal return".
London, Los Angelese and Barcelona rounded out the top five.
