Sydney petrol station robbed at knifepoint

A Sydney service station has been robbed by knife-wielding thieves.

Two bandits have robbed a service station in Sydney's west at knifepoint.

The thieves entered the petrol station on Luxford Road, Lethbridge Park, about 4.20pm on Sunday, police said.

One of the men, armed with a knife, demanded the store attendant open the till, with robbers then taking cash and fleeing the premises.

Both men are described as Caucasian, about 183cm tall, with a medium build.

One of the men was wearing a balaclava at the time, while the other thief wore a blue hoodie and bone coloured long pants.
