Sydney pub patrons report shooting

Police are continuing to investigate following an incident outside a southwest Sydney pub where a man was seen leaning out of car window with a rifle.

Pub patrons in Sydney's southwest have reported a drive-by shooting after seeing a man lean out the window of a car with a rifle.

People at the Argyle Street premises in Picton told police they heard a shot fired when the front-seat passenger leaned out the window with the gun on Sunday afternoon.

Local police established a crime scene, but no one was injured and officers have been unable to find any damage to property.
