Syndicate row over $40m Powerball payout

The pay out of a $40 million Powerball prize to a group of Sydney factory workers may be delayed by a co-worker who claims he was in the syndicate.

A production manager is demanding a share of the $40 million Powerball prize won by a syndicate of 14 people at a Sydney factory.

Lawyers for Brendon King have demanded Oz Lotteries hold off on paying the syndicate until the dispute is resolved, The Daily Telegraph has reported.

Mr King's lawyers are adamant their client paid for his ticket which won the May 5 jackpot.
