Syrian children 'severely traumatised'

The Save the Children agency says children have become targets in the Syrian conflict and are also being harmed by witnessing horrific scenes.

An international child aid agency says children have become targets in the Syrian conflict and are also being harmed by witnessing horrific scenes.

The United Nations has estimated the number of refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria has gone above one-million people.

A new report by Save the Children, entitled "Childhood Under Fire", is based on surveys of Syrian children affected by the violence.

Annie Bodmer-Roy, from Save the Children, has told Zara Zaher that children are being severely traumatised by witnessing horrific scenes.
