Television reporter Tara Brown will make her return to Australian screens on Sunday, three-and-a-half months after being detained in a Beirut prison with her 60 Minutes crew.
The Nine Network reporter and three of her colleagues were put behind bars by Lebanese police on April 6 after filming the botched abduction of two children by their Australian mother, Sally Faulkner.
The abduction attempt took place after Ms Faulkner's estranged husband Ali Elamine took the children, Lahela, five, and Noah, three, to Lebanon on holiday in May 2015 but never returned them to Australia.
The 60 Minutes staff were released from jail after two weeks because Nine reportedly paid $500,000 to Mr Elamine.
Former Australian soldier Adam Whittington, who was charged with kidnapping along with three of his colleagues, walked free from jail on bail this week.
According to a trailer for Sunday's episode, Brown will return "with the most powerful story of the year" as she interviews the families of the three people killed when former Rozelle convenience store owner Adeel Ahmad Khan set fire to his shop in September 2014, triggering a massive explosion.
