Ross Taylor has set a New Zealand record for the highest Test score against Australia.

Martin Crowe previously held the record, having scored 188 in the Black Caps' win at the Gabba thirty years ago.

Taylor overtook Crowe during his masterclass at the WACA on Sunday, when Kane Williamson fell for 166.

Taylor shared a 265-run partnership with Williamson, a record for NZ's highest Test stand against Australia.
