Team New Zealand have laughed off accusations they trespassed on America's Cup defenders Oracle Team USA to gather information.
Oracle have protested to the sailing regatta's jury that Team NZ and the other challengers still in contention, Italy's Luna Rossa, trespassed on one of their AC45s.
However, Team NZ have dismissed the claim, which relate to the rule over reconnaissance, as "laughable".
They describe it as an attempt to confuse issues ahead of the jury's hearing on allegations of gross misconduct against Oracle, who have admitted making changes to their AC45s without permission of the measurement committee in previous regattas.
Team NZ say their own AC45 is being used by a Yachting New Zealand crew competing in the Youth America's Cup.
That boat was parked on common ground alongside an Oracle yacht, they said in a statement.
The AC45s were the prototype for the giant AC72s being used for the America's Cup and they were sailed in a number of preliminary events.
