Teddies, Peppa pigs get check-up in Melb

Teddy bears, Peppa Pig and all much-loved toys will be checked into the Teddy Bear Hospital in Melbourne in a quest to reduce childhood anxiety about doctors.

Peppa Pig and Garfield will be checked into a teddy bear hospital to help reduce Melbourne kids' anxiety towards hospitals.

Kids can ensure their toys get a check-up, their vaccinations and any operations when the Teddy Bear Hospital sets up at Chadstone this weekend.

Organisers say the program, which donates proceeds to the Royal Children's Hospital, helps reduce anxiety in kids and offers medical students experience in communicating with children.
