Teen charged over SA road rage incident

An Adelaide teenager has been charged over a road rage incident in which a woman's glasses were stomped on and smashed.

A driver has had her glasses stomped on and smashed during a violent road rage incident in Adelaide.

Police say an 18-year-old man has been charged with property damage and aggravated assault of the woman, who is in her 60s.

She was driving in Seaview Downs on Tuesday night when she flashed her car headlights at a car with its lights on high beam.

After the woman parked her car, she was approached by the other driver.

He allegedly pushed her to the ground, knocking her glasses from her head.

"The man then stomped on her reading glasses smashing them," police said on Friday.

The woman received minor injuries.

The teenager has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 27.
