Teen feared death in 'attack room'

A Sydney teen who was allegedly tortured by her boyfriend says she thought she was going to die.

A teenager, who was allegedly held captive by her boyfriend, bashed and repeatedly burnt with an ice pipe, has cried as she described the "attack room" where she says she was tortured.

"I thought I am so young and I am going to die today," she told Sydney's District Court. "I don't know why this all happened."

The teen, who cannot be named, had just celebrated her 17th birthday in May 2013 when she went to her then boyfriend Jason Cicerkofski's Arncliffe home in Sydney's south.

While there, she said Cicerkofski took her into a near empty room in the house.

After stepping inside, she said Cicerkofski's father whacked her to the head with a gun.

She attempted to run but was knocked to the ground by the pair.

"That's when they both started kicking my face."

Using cable ties, the teen said Cicerkofski bound her ankles and wrists before duct taping her to the chair.

In the "torture" that followed, Cicerkofski was smoking "ice" using a glass pipe that had "sweet puff" written on it, she said.

"He was smoking ... then he would walk and then put it on me and leave it on me.

"It was so hot it felt freezing cold, adding that it melted her tights onto her.

"He was very, very paranoid that night.

"He kept on saying, `What do you know, what do you know?'... I was begging," she said.

Eventually, the teen told the court she was put into Cicerkofski's room to sleep.

When he and his father left she made her escape and ran home.

Cicerkofski, 23, has pleaded not guilty to detaining and causing her actual bodily harm.

The trial continues.
