A 15-year-old boy has allegedly filmed himself and a 14-year-old girl in a sexual act, and passed the mobile phone footage on to other teenagers.
The boy's school principal became aware of the incident and informed police, leading to the teen's arrest on Tuesday.
He has been charged with the dissemination and possession of child abuse material and inciting a person under 16 to commit an act of indecency.
The boy was granted bail to appear at a children's court next month.
