Teens run riot after police halt WA party

Several cars were damaged and trains had to be stopped after police broke up an out of control house party in Perth's eastern suburbs.

About 200 teenagers have caused severe damage on the streets after a party in Perth's eastern suburbs spiralled out of control.

Following numerous complaints, police arrived at the Bushmead Road home in Hazelmere on Friday night to find music blaring and several fights spilling on to the street.

The party was shut down, and a group of youth jumped and ran over cars, smashing eight windscreens as they left.

Some others jumped on to the railway tracks, causing the transport authority to stop trains.

Two teenagers have been charged with trespassing, criminal damage and disorderly behaviour.
