Former AMP chief executive Craig Dunn has joined the board of telecoms giant Telstra as a non-executive director.
Mr Dunn steered AMP through the global financial crisis when CEO between 2008 and 2013. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Colonial Mutual group and in audit and consulted for KPMG.
Currently, he's a director with Westpac, chairman of the Australian Ballet, and an advisory panel member for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
"Craig's achievements and knowledge of how customers, services and technology come together is totally consistent with our strategic direction," Telstra's chairman-elect John Mullen said in a statement on Tuesday.
