Ten asks to delist from ASX with CBS sale

Ten Network has applied to be removed from its listing on the Australian stock exchange as the broadcaster begins life as a subsidiary of US network CBS.

The Ten Network has asked to be delisted from the Australian Securities Exchange with the completion of the free-to-air broadcaster's sale to CBS.

Ten Network administrator KordaMentha says the broadcaster has applied to the ASX for delisting following the transfer of its shares to the US media giant.

KordaMentha has already said there was no final appeal against the NSW Supreme Court approval of the $41 million deal, which is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
