The Block's Dale Vine says his time on the TV series has given him a taste for a career on the small screen.
And producers of the Nine Network home renovation reality show are backing him, comparing him to other comedy acts like Hamish Blake, Andy Lee and even Paul Hogan.
Vine, who partners with his wife Sophie Vine on the show and is known for his on-screen flair, has hinted he may pursue other TV projects.
"I've enjoyed my time doing stuff on telly, I'd definitely have a look at it," he said in an interview with TV Week.
The 32-year-old, who has appeared in three seasons of the show, is a qualified landscaper and gardener.
The Block's co-executive producer Julian Cress says there is already talk about things Dale could do, and likened him to other personalities like Blake and Lee.
"I would like to see him lined up for lots of shows," he said.
"Dale is as funny as Paul Hogan ever was. He's really quick-witted."
Sophie posted a snap of the article on Instagram, showing him looking suave in a suit and bowtie.
"Definitely not tired of seeing @vineyd in a suit! Wowsa
