The Hotplate has cooked The Bachelor in the TV ratings.
More viewers tuned in to watch Nine's cooking offering (913,000) than the Ten Network's reality dating show (805,000) on Wednesday, making it the most watched non-news program.
The tables have turned from Wednesday last week, when The Bachelor was the ratings sizzler.
The dating show has lost more than 40,000 viewers since last week's premiere episode, while The Hotplate has gained 200,000 according to the OzTAM overnight ratings.
Last week, The Hotplate was pitted against rival cooking show Restaurant Revolution but the Seven Network has since cut the program back to airing just one night a week, on Thursdays, after it performed poorly in the ratings.
