The talk at netball's World Cup

Who's saying what ahead of the netball World Cup final between Australia and New Zealand in Sydney.

WHO'S SAYING WHAT: NETBALL WORLD CUP FINAL BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

"I did say before the tournament that was my prediction. Nobody tended to listen to me but hopefully they think I do know something about it now." - Australian Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander on an NZ-Aust final.

"When we came over, no-one thought we'd get this far. Everything from here on in is a bonus - we've tried to be fearless and courageous all the way through because we had to be." - Silver Ferns coach Waimarama Taumaunu looking back to New Zealand's pool play win over Australia.

"In our team we call the older ones the VIPs, that's what our nickname is." - Silver Ferns captain Casey Kopua on the importance of experienced players.

"The fact that they do have a very different line-up to what we're used to did throw us a little bit. We weren't super proud of that performance." - Diamonds goal shooter Caitlin Bassett remembers NZ beating Australia in pool play.

"When their backs are against the wall the Kiwis seem to pull it out and come out firing. But with the Aussies on their home ground, I think that eighth player with the crowd involved may get them over the line." - England skipper Geva Mentor on who's going to win.

"If I was to put my money on anyone, I'd just want a good competition and let's hope we go to extra time like we've done over the last few years." - England coach Tracey Neville hedges her bets on a finals prediction.

"I'm pretty good - it's re-runs of West Wing at the moment. I quite like West Wing." - Taumaunu on what she does to relax.
