Third man pleads not guilty to WA murder

Three men will stand trial after pleading not guilty to murdering a man in a Perth park nearly a year ago.

A third man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man at a Perth park.

Nathan Michael Beckton, 36, appeared in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from prison on Wednesday.

Angus William John Ritchie, 23, and Alexander James Stephens, 23, have previously pleaded not guilty to murdering David Liam Johnson, 32, in March last year.

All three will appear in the WA Supreme Court on March 10.

A fourth man, Edward James Dangla-Cruz, 23, has previously pleaded guilty to being an accessory.

Prosecutors allege Mr Johnson knew the men and was involved in altercation with them at a Swanbourne house on March 8 last year.

He was allegedly hit by a car and then driven to a park where he was fatally shot.
