Thompson, Turner hope to return for Roos

Key defender Scott Thompson and utility Kayne Turner will push for a return to the North Melbourne team for Sunday's AFL match against Melbourne in Hobart.

Thompson (general soreness) and Turner (hamstring) were both late withdrawals from the side which beat Brisbane last weekend.

"We've got the advantage of an eight-day break leading into our match in Hobart, so we're anticipating both Scott and Kayne to be available for selection provided they both train well at our main session later this week," said North Melbourne's director of football Geoff Walsh.
