Three more people have been arrested over the death of a man in a suspected home invasion in Melbourne on Australia Day.

Michael Sleiman, 20, died after a group of 15 people allegedly stormed a Deer Park house and started a fight.

Homicide detectives arrested a Darley man, 23, on Monday afternoon following raids on houses at Bacchus Marsh and Darley, police said.

He is being questioned along with two Caroline Springs men, aged 23 and 24, who were arrested earlier on Monday.

Deer Park men Matthew Delamothe, 22, and Benjamin Borg, 19, have already been charged with Mr Sleiman's murder and remain in custody.

Two other men who were arrested on Friday have been released pending further inquiries.
