Wests Tigers utility Keith Lulia will miss the rest of the season after breaking his neck.

Lulia suffered the injury in the club's record 64-6 loss to North Queensland in Townsville two weeks ago and missed Saturday's 48-4 loss to the Sydney Roosters at Leichhardt Oval.

The Tigers confirmed the extent of the injury on Monday.

"Outside back Keith Lulia will miss the reminder of the season after scans revealed a small vertebrae fracture in his neck," a club statement read.

"After consulting with a specialist, Lulia received an estimated recovery time of eight to 12 weeks."

The injury adds to a significant injury toll for the Tigers who will again miss the finals.

Prop Aaron Woods suffered a knock to his knee against the premiers and is in doubt for Thursday's round 24 clash with Canterbury.

Dene Halatau is also in doubt with a hamstring complaint.
