Tigers wary of overusing Tedesco

Playmaker Mitchell Moses says the Tigers can't rely on James Tedesco to be the focus of their attack all the time.

Mitchell Moses knows Wests Tigers can't keep banking on James Tedesco to make the big plays for the NRL club.

Tedesco has surged into NSW State of Origin contention on the back of a scintillating start to the season.

But Moses has warned the Tigers can't risk going to the well too often with the star fullback in order to avoid becoming too predictable.

"James has been outstanding so far this season but we probably played a bit too much to him on the weekend (in their season's first loss to Gold Coast)," Moses said.

"So we will look to vary his touches and things like that this weekend against Parramatta."

Tedesco said he is happy with his form, but admitted he faces possibly his toughest test of the year so far up against in-form Parramatta on Easter Monday at ANZ Stadium.

"They are looking really good, (Kieran) Foran and (Corey) Norman are playing good footy, as is (Semi) Radradra so it is going to be a big challenge for us," Tedesco said.

"(The Eels) are very hard to defend against, they have a very good attack either side with their halves so our defence has to be on song."

Robbie Farah will play his first game of the season for the Tigers after recovering from a knee injury.

That gives the Tigers back their talented spine with Farah at hooker, Luke Brooks (who missed round one through suspension) and Moses in the halves and Tedesco at fullback.

"We trained all pre-season together as a spine so we have that combination, and from last year as well and that will be good for our attack," Tedesco said.
