Canberra prop Dane Tilse is to leave the NRL club after round seven, to take up a new two-and-a-half year deal with Hull KR in the English Super League.

The 30-year-old will play his 199th game for the Raiders against Manly in Albury on Saturday.

Tilse was contracted with the Raiders until the end of the 2016 season but sought an early release following his offer from Hull KR, which followed the early retirement of fellow Australian prop Michael Weyman through injury.
