Now Tindog is doing the same thing for dogs and their owners.
Those who want to find a potential dog-walking companion can upload a photo of their dog to find other dog-owners nearby.
The advantage is obvious for the humans - they can meet someone who likes dogs and they'll have a fail-safe conversational starting point.
The app's Facebook page already has 10,000 likes.
