Gold Coast NRL prop Matthew White has signed a new two-year deal with the Titans.

The 30-year-old has made a strong recovery from a knee reconstruction which ruled him out of the entire 2013 campaign, making nine appearances this season.

White's new deal will keep him at the Titans until at least the end of the 2016 season.

"As a young player, my dream was to play in the NRL, like many kids, and this contract will bring me to 12 years as an NRL player which I'm proud of, particularly coming from the bush," the country NSW product said.

"I've had six years at the Titans now and love playing here.

"It's a relief after coming off the knee reconstruction to now have my future settled but I know I have to keep performing to stay in the side with a lot of depth in the front row."

White, who debuted for Newcastle in 2005, is just three games away from playing 100 matches for the Titans after making 28 appearances for the Knights before heading north in 2008.
