Toddler and dog missing in Victoria

A search has been launched for a two-year-old girl who disappeared from her country Victoria home with the family dog.

A toddler has gone missing with her dog in country Victoria.

The two-year-old girl was reported missing about 7.30pm on Tuesday and is believed to have wandered out of her home in Crossover, near Warragul, with the family's black dog.

Police are searching the rural property but are concerned the girl, dressed in a T-shirt and nappy, might have made her way onto the nearby road.

Drivers in the area are being asked to slow down and keep a look out for the missing pair.
