A two-year-old Perth boy died when his mother accidentally reversed over him while picking him up.
The 31-year-old mother was collecting her son up from another driver in Maddington on Tuesday afternoon when the boy unexpectedly jumped out of the second vehicle and into the path of his mother's car.
"Mum, who was reversing, didn't see her son run from the car and has tragically run him over," police said in a statement.
