Tohu Harris out in NRL blow for Warriors

Warriors second-rower Tohu Harris has suffered another knee injury, ruling him out of their NRL match against St George Illawarra in Wollongong.

Influential second-rower Tohu Harris will miss the Warriors' NRL match against St George Illawarra after suffering a fresh knee injury.

Harris had missed the past four matches with an injury to his left knee from which he had recovered.

The New Zealand club said he had damaged his right knee during a training session and would miss Saturday's important clash with the Dragons in Wollongong.

He will return to Auckland for "immediate minor surgery", with no diagnosis on how long his absence will extend.

Kiwis international second-rower Harris is likely to be replaced by Simon Mannering or Leivaha Pulu.

The eighth-placed Warriors have lost four of their five games without the 26-year-old this season.
