Tom Uren farewelled in Sydney

Tom Uren, the Labor stalwart and minister in the Whitlam and Hawke governments, has been honoured at a state funeral in Sydney.

Tom Uren, the Labor stalwart and minister in the Whitlam and Hawke governments, has been honoured at a state funeral in Sydney.

Mr Uren, who died last week at the age of 93, served as member of the federal parliament for 31 years.
