Ajla Tomljanovic has continued her solid late-season form by moving into the quarter-finals of the Korea Open.

The Australian recovered from a poor first set to register a 2-6 6-1 6-3 win over Tamara Zidansek.

Tomljanovic held serve just once in a forgettable opener but powered home to move into the last eight.

There she'll face the winner of Australian Priscilla Hon and Su Jeong Jang.

If the 25 year-old can progress to the final she is projected to rise to a career-high ranking in the low 40s.

Other winners on Wednesday included Maria Sakkari, Evgeniya Rodina and Su-Wei Hsieh.
