Police say they found 20 bottles of vintage Hermitage Grange when they raided a home in Melbourne over alleged card skimming.

Other items allegedly uncovered in the search in Chadstone on Wednesday included bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne, iPads, laptops, phones, suits, handbags and appliances.

Police say the haul, allegedly obtained with stolen credit card details, has a total value of about $300,000.

A Chadstone man, 22, was arrested at the property in the raid about 10.30am.

He was later charged with handling stolen goods and deception, and was bailed to appear in court in May.
