The traditional owners of the Maralinga Tjarutja Lands in central South Australia have gained unrestricted access to an area that was prohibited by the federal government.
But questions linger about what exactly was gained.
The government has excised the land called Section 400 from the Woomera Prohibited Area, the site of atomic testing by the British in the 1950s and '60s and more modern day weapons tests.
The Maralinga Tjarutja people requested the move, and traditional owner Denis Brown was on the negotiating team for the handover.
But Mr Brown was not too sure when Ron Sutton asked him if he could explain what it means to the traditional owners.
