Toulouse's Ralepelle suffers knee injury

Springbok hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle, who has won 21 caps for South Africa, has suffered a serious knee injury and may not play for a long time.

Springbok hooker Chiliboy Ralepelle will be out "for a long time" after suffering a knee injury at the weekend, French club Toulouse said on Monday.

Toulouse coach Guy Noves told reporters that Ralepelle, who has won 21 caps for South Africa, will be "absent for a long time with a knee problem," without giving further details.

Ralepelle was injured early in the second half of Toulouse's Top 14 encounter with Biarritz on Saturday and was replaced by Christopher Tolofua.

Toulouse will also be without injured Argentinean lock Patricio Albacete, French utility back Yann David and fly half Lionel Beauxis for Saturday's away match at Castres, the coach revealed.

In addition, Toulouse players Louis Picamoles, Yannick Nyanga, Jean-Marc Doussain, Yoann Huget, Yoann Maestri and Maxime Medard have all been selected in the French squad for Friday's six-nations clash against Wales.
