The terrifying fifth stage of the Tour De France has been run, passing over nine sectors of cobblestones.
Fears the stage could result in injuries were high before the race started with the prospect of rain complicating the rough terrain.
Reporter Mike Tomalaris is in France covering the Tour for SBS, and he spoke with Peggy Giakoumelos about how the riders handled stage five.
