Transpacific appoints new CEO

Transpacific has appointed Vik Bansal as its new chief executive, replacing Robert Boucher, who stepped down in May.

Waste management giant Transpacific has appointed Vik Bansal as its new chief executive.

Mr Bansal was most recently chief operating officer of US irrigation equipment manufacturer Valmont and replaces Robert Boucher, who stepped down for personal reasons in May.

He will receive a fixed salary of $1.2 million but could earn substantially more through short-term and long-term incentive payments.
