Trio in Vic court over $340k ice bust

Three men have appeared in a Melbourne court charged with importing $340,000 of ice.

Three men have appeared before a Melbourne court charged with importing more than $340,000 worth of ice.

Wilson Dhan, Emanuel Teah and Sehwhy Nipoe did not apply for bail when they appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.

The trio are accused of importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug.

They were arrested in Truganina on Friday morning during a joint Victorian and federal police operation.

It's alleged the men imported enough crystal meth for close to 7000 street deals, worth an estimated $340,500.

The men will reappear in court on Tuesday.
